Elin Angharad graduated from Bangor University B.Mus. and M.A. after studying under the renowned harpist, Elinor Bennett. She has won the Nansi Richards Memorial Prize and the Instrumental Blue Ribbon at the National Eisteddfod, and has performed on stage and in ceremonies, and at places as different as Bodnant Gardens, Portmeirion and the Millennium Stadium.
